Advantages with H.T.P.V.

A typical domestic Solar P.V. system from HTPV will -

Cut your energy bills!

Pay you around £1000 Tax Free p.A.!

Earn you additional payments from the national grid!

add value to your property!

protect you from rising energy costs!

save over a tonne of c02 emissions every year!

Potential Savings

After installing an HTPV Solar electricity system you are still able to buy electricity, but you will have the added option of being able to provide your own, and maybe even be able to sell the surplus you generate back into the grid through the feed in tariff.

Not only will you be saving energy and reducing you carbon footprint, but you could find yourself saving or even making money too!

Electricity from PV (Photovoltaic) Solar Panels

Convert the suns rays into electricity you can use in your home. Solar electricity generation is dependent on light intensity, not on heat or direct sunlight - so it works even on overcast days.

Solar Electricity (Photovoltaic cells)

Photovoltaic solar panels are an excellent investment for home owners, the electricity they produce is free and the return on investment, better than today’s low interest rates on savings and other financial investments of this level. you will not only benefit from free safe renewable electricity, the system implemented will be certified to qualify for the governments new feed in tariff scheme for renewable energy, an average house equates to around £25,000 of totally tax free income over 25 years.

How does solar P.V. electric work?

solar energyPhotovoltaic solar panels can be attached to a roof or a wall which will then absorb the suns energy and produce solar electricity. Solar panels are normally made from one or two layers of a semi conducting material, typically silicon. When sunlight shines on the cells they produce electricity. Modern PV solar panels are now so efficient that even with the unpredictable UK climate they are still capable of providing electricity all year around.

Solar Panels now come in various shapes, sizes and colours, e.g. small grey solar panels that give the impression of being like roof tiles and transparent solar cells that can be used on glass roofs such as a conservatory. Our accredited local installers will advise you on the most appropriate options and positioning of panels for your home.

Feed-in Tariff scheme

Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) became available in Great Britain on 1st April 2010. Under this scheme energy suppliers have to (compulsory for big six suppliers) make regular payments to householders and communities who generate their own electricity from renewable or low carbon sources such as solar electricity panels(PV).  More here
